In about 8 more hours, AC will be startin at farrer park primary school. And for the next 5 days, I will be at farrer park pri sch, enduring the hot sun and the randoming clothes that drop from hdb flats around due to the strong winds. Sounds fun doesn't it? This year i just hope we wont get last again, like we have been for the past 2 years. Quite sian to always see owl at the top and falcon at the bottom, so this year its going to change, i hope. Another wish is for our patrol to have full attendance, and from what the sec 2s have shown so far, i think that it's highly possibe for us to achieve this. We would then have 11 people, more than any other patrols and it would certainly help us for the pioneering part.
Day zero was really dammm sian. Went to braddel westlake at 9am and loaded the poles onto the lorry. The uncle was the same guy for the past few years and apparently this year he upgraded his lorry so that it had a lift at the back which was suuuuuuper doooooper cool. When we wanted to get back to RI, we all stood on the lift and then it just lifted 15 of us as if we were as light as a feather. Imba. And the strength of the lift was matched by the strength of the uncle. What would normally take 3 scouts to do only took 1 of him, and he closed the gate of the pole shed easily. And after moving it he said that it was so simple. -.-" suanner
Then went back to den to shift the logistics onto the lorry. As we had too many stuff we needed to carry quite a bit, like the tekos and the tents. Then we took 56 to farrer park pri sch and in the process we caused the passengers to all hold their breathe cos we were all too smelly le. All the sweat + shit from the pole shed + frog and lizard poo on the pole and whatever other sai there are at braddel.
At fpps, we didnt have to unload anything as norris jj and the uncle had already done so by the time we reached. Hence we straightaway went for lunch at tekka wet market and i ate quite a lot, but didnt pay a lot. =) what i like best. Went back to school and moved the poles to the field, only to realize that it was going to rain anytime. So we arranged all the poles in height order and covered them with our kitchen tent. About half an hour later the sky cleared and we tied the flagstaff and also split the poles -evenly- amongst the 6 patrols. Falcon was quite lucky as our camp area was right next to where the poles were so didnt have to walk much and had time to arrange our poles neatly, also due to the fact that we had 3 sec 3s while the others only had 2. Thanks jack! After that just cleaned up a bit then dismissed le
Dont expect a post in the next 5 days. Or 6 for that matter cos the whole day ill be sleeping. Week 1 is gone...and i cant use the iphone.
